Everything matches perfectly. Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti's contract with Real Madrid expires after one year. That of Spanish coach Xabi Alonso with Bayer Leverkusen expires after one year. So, the situation in the Madrid club after 365 days is clear.

Xabi Alonso will be Ancelotti's successor in the "los blancos" team, when the Italian coach takes charge of the Brazilian national team. The Spanish daily "Mundo Deportivo" confirms the news today, adding that the president Florentino Perez has given his blessing for the arrival of Alonso.

41-year-old Xabi Alonso, a former Madrid player (4 goals in 158 games for Los Blancos), will take over next summer. He has a good relationship with both the club and the fans, while this season he performed well in the Bundesliga and in Europe.

Meanwhile, Ancelotti will leave Europe to make a career with Brazil. The federation of this country has confirmed that it will wait a year when the Italian coach's contract with Real Madrid expires.
