UEFA severely punishes Jose Mourinho. European football's governing body has suspended the Portuguese coach for four games after insulting the referee at the end of the Europa League final against Sevilla.
The inappropriate words towards Antony Taylor have also brought consequences, with Mourinho missing from almost all of the Europa League group stage challenges next season. This is not the only punishment in the ranks of the Italian club.
Roma will play the first challenge without local fans in the UEFA competitions, for lighting fireworks, throwing hard objects and causing damage in the final duel against the Spaniards and a fine of 50 thousand euros. The Italian club will have 30 days to pay off the damage to the Budapest stadium 'Puskas Arena'.
There is expected to be an appeal by Roma, who have appealed against referee Taylor's decision in that final. But the punitive measures do not end there. The match between Roma and Leverkusen has also ended in UEFA, with the Italian fans creating tension in the "Olimpico" stadium and outside it.
