The leader of the Opportunity Party, Agron Shehaj, has reacted to the clash between Socialist MP Erion Braçe and himself regarding the Territorial Reform, describing it as a staged clash that, according to him, can be revealed by voting in the Assembly.
Shehaj said that Braça's stance will be tested at the moment of voting, as the majority needs 84 votes to approve the reform, while it currently has 85.
"Now the truth is that we will find out very soon. That this is all a game. Rama needs 84 votes to pass the territorial reform. In the meantime, he has 85. But there is a possibility that Braçe will not vote for the territorial reform and this depends on the participation or not of Belinda Balluku in Parliament ," Shehaj declared.
According to him, the absence of Belinda Balluku in the Assembly would put Braca in the face of the need to vote in favor of the reform, if the majority sought to secure the necessary number of votes.
"Belinda Balluku has not been coming to Parliament for a long time, since SPAK requested her arrest. Now in this specific case, the majority needs Belinda Balluku's vote, because without Balluku's vote, Braçe would be forced to vote and reveal the entire game set up by Edi Rama ," he said.
Shehaj described Braçe's public clash with Rama as part of a political "theater" and also criticized the support that, according to him, Braçe has received from the opposition.
"The mockery that is being made of citizens is unbelievable. Now Erion Braçe has blocked the podium and is threatening Edi Rama that he will supposedly vote against the territorial reform. But what is even more unbelievable is that now the opposition also supports Braçe in this theater of his, in the game that he is supposedly playing against Edi Rama," said Shehaj.
The Head of Opportunity emphasizes that Balluk's participation or not in the session and the way Braçe will vote will show, according to him, whether the clash is real.
"Today we will find out. Will the game continue or will they be discovered because Belinda Balluku will come to Parliament. Or will Belinda Balluku come to Parliament to enable Edi Rama's game. Now we will see," concluded Shehaj.
