Russia warns of escalating attacks on Ukraine, while Moscow has called on diplomats and foreign citizens to leave the country, speaking of "mortal danger."
The Russian Foreign Ministry said that responsibility for any consequences will lie with those who do not heed the warnings.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky says Moscow is preparing to expand the air campaign against civilian targets.
"We saw the documents and we know that they allow them to attack infrastructure, logistics and, especially, to attack in cities, in villages, everywhere, roads, schools, hospitals. The goal is to make people leave the capital and different cities," Zelensky said.
Zelensky warned that Ukraine would respond to Russian attacks, particularly targeting energy facilities and oil refineries that Kiev says are financing the war. He stressed that civilian targets would not be hit.
In another development, Moldova summoned the Russian ambassador after drone and missile violations of its airspace. President Maia Sandu said that Russia's war in Ukraine is dangerously spreading to Moldovan territory.
