Prime Minister Edi Rama's meeting with the Socialist Party structures in Tirana has concluded, regarding the partial elections to be held on November 9, which, in addition to Tirana, also include 5 other municipalities in the country.
The meeting was attended by all political leaders of the Socialist Party, not just those from the municipalities that will go to the polls on November 9th.
Also present were ministers, MPs, former MPs who were unable to receive a mandate on May 11 in the Tirana district, candidates who were on the list, and every leader of the local SP structure.
The meeting was held behind closed doors and Rama distributed all directives for the November 9 elections.
It is learned that all MPs and political leaders who are not running in their municipality will engage in the Tirana campaign.
Also, in addition to political leaders, ministers will also be on the ground, who will be assigned specific areas.
The electoral zones for the Socialist MPs and former legislators who have competed in Tirana will be the same as those for the May 11 elections. In the campaign, they will be joined by MPs from other districts, in which there are no local by-elections.
From previous meetings that the prime minister had with representatives of the capital at the SP headquarters, it is learned that Rama stated: "I want us to have the biggest possible victory."
This request by Rama is learned to come not only for the challenge with the political opponent, but also for the entire perception that the outcome of Tirana does not depend on just one individual.
Meanwhile, regarding the setting of the election date, it is learned that Rama has told the Socialists that this is the election of the President of the Republic.
