The Democratic Party candidate for the Lezha district, Gjin Gjoni , gave a statement to the media after the vote, describing this day as special for the entire district.

He called on citizens to exercise their right to vote, emphasizing that this is an important act for the future of their children.

Gjoni also raised concerns about the presence of local unit administrators inside polling stations, which, according to him, is in violation of the Electoral Code.

"There are cases when administrators are inside polling centers without any legal attributes or identification badges. This is unacceptable, " said Gjoni, adding that this situation has been observed in several administrative units of the district.
