The Council of Ministers has approved the decision to officially appoint the Ministry of Finance as the representative of the Albanian state in the capacity of the first shareholder of the company "Albanian Development Bank".

According to the decision, the Ministry of Finance will represent the state as the owner of 100% of the shares of this bank and will follow all further procedures set out in the law.

Also, the company "Albanian Development Bank", sh.a., has been charged with the implementation of this decision. The Albanian Development Bank focuses on financing the main areas of the economy, especially agriculture.

Decision:

ON THE APPOINTMENT OF THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE AS THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE ALBANIAN STATE IN THE CAPACITY OF THE FIRST SHAREHOLDER OF THE COMPANY "ALBANIAN DEVELOPMENT BANK", SH.A.

In accordance with Article 100 of the Constitution and point 1 of Article 6 of the Law No. 23/2025, "On the Albanian Development Bank", upon the proposal of the Minister of Finance, the Council of Ministers V E N D O S I:

The appointment of the Ministry of Finance as the representative of the Albanian state in the capacity of the first shareholder of the company "Albanian Development Bank", sh.a. The Ministry of Finance represents the state as the owner of 100% of the shares of the company "Albanian Development Bank", sh.a.

The Ministry of Finance is charged with following further procedures, pursuant to the law no. 23/2025, "On the Albanian Development Bank". The Ministry of Finance and the company "Albanian Development Bank", sh.a., are charged with the implementation of this decision.
