The Minister of Defense of Albania, Pirro Vengu, has participated in the aircraft fair that is being held in Paris, France.

Vengu has closely observed several aircraft, mainly those that can be used to extinguish flames, but has not left a glance at even the most technologically advanced ones, such as unmanned drones.

Even earlier, Vengu said that Albania plans to buy two aircraft, which will be able to be adapted for both civilian and military use.

Currently, the Air Force has about 20 helicopters and an unspecified number of Turkish-made unmanned drones, as well as no fighter jets.

The domestic military industry, the equipping of dual-use tools and systems, both civilian and military, and the qualification of our officers in their use constitute three axes of modernization of our Armed Forces.

During my visit to the Paris Air Show, I had the opportunity to get acquainted with the technologies and tools offered by some of the most prestigious companies in the world such as: Anduril Systems, Thales Group, Airbus, MBDA, EDGE Group, KNDS, Saab AB and Safran.
