The vote recount process for the Tirana district is continuing without any problems. So far, 13 ballot boxes have been evaluated.

The results for the latter have been officially reflected by the Central Election Commission.

The Democratic Party has only gained four votes, Lulzim Basha's Euro-Atlantic Coalition has gained three votes. Meanwhile, the Socialist Party has lost 17 votes. The Opportunity Party has one plus vote, and the PSD has also gained one vote.

For the largest district in the country, a total of 1,282 ballot boxes will be reopened, for political entities and candidates.

Meanwhile, the Electoral College has rejected the Democratic Party's nomination for Lezha and Gjirokastra.

The process in the capital is expected to last about 10 days.

After the completion of this phase, the recount will begin in the Fier region with 587 ballot boxes, and then in Durrës, where 360 ​​ballot boxes will be reviewed, including 85 boxes coming from the diaspora.

24 working groups with a total of 63 election administration employees were engaged in this process, including 48 counters and 15 substitutes.

The total cost of the recount is estimated at 21 million new lekë, a fund that will be covered by the savings remaining from the process conducted on May 11, without the need for additional funds.
