The Electoral College today rejected the Democratic Party's appeal for the Lezha and Gjirokastra districts, calling them unfounded.
Meanwhile, the matter does not end here for the opposition, as the Electoral College is expected to review the complaints filed by the DP for the Gjirokastër, Korçë and Kukës regions as well.
The Democratic Party has requested that the elections in these districts be declared invalid, arguing that the process was manipulated and non-transparent.
In addition to the invalidation, the DP has also requested a repeat of the elections in these areas.
