The mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj, as well as the head of the SP branch of Tirana, today presented the new leaders of the Socialist Party in the 27 local units of the capital.
During his speech, Veliaj attacked former Prime Minister Sali Berisha and former President Ilir Meta, describing one as a communist and the other as a spy.
According to him, the opposition is solving the problems of the 90s, while the government is engaged in fulfilling the tasks to move the country forward.
"We are talking about the future, they are still solving the problems of the 90s. Who spied on us during the hunger strike, was it Ilir Metë or someone else? Who was the doctor that Ramiz took to spoil the students' party, was it this doctor or another doctor? They have their lives obsessed with clearing up the 90's chatter.
We have our lives engaged and mobilized to clarify the dreams, the coming mission of Albania. They are deeply vulgar, banal, stale, but when we are all together, with the people you have in your arms, our country is in the right direction. "Communist Sali and fucsi Ilir should solve their own problems", said Veliaj.
