The new head of state, Bajram Begaj, held his first meeting as President with the US ambassador in Tirana, Yuri Kim.

The head of American diplomacy in Albania went to the Presidency at noon today, after many months, due to conflicts with former president Ilir Meta.

Both Begaj and Kim reacted after the meeting, but without giving details about their conversations, but writing about the general rhetoric of "support" and "thanks", writes Vox News.al.

However, from the photos published by the American embassy in Tirana, details are noted that Yuri Kim did not go to Begaj's office, simply to thank him.

She had a pad, a folder and a pen with her in this meeting. As can be seen in the photo by the door at the time of exit, these items are held by her companion, while in another photo they are seen on the armchair on the right side of Yuri Kim.

It remains a "mystery" what Yuri Kim's file and notebook contained and the conversation she had with the new president Bajram Begaj.
