"Let's make the borders formal". This is what the speaker of the Assembly, Linditna Nikolla, stated during her speech at the joint meeting of the two Albanian-Kosovo Assemblies in Tirana.

She said that once upon a time the gathering of Albanians in an assembly seemed like a dream to us as she listed some of the challenges over the years since the declaration of Albania's independence until today.

"Marked for the first time, today is a beautiful and unforgettable day where the two assemblies meet to celebrate the 110th anniversary of Albania's independence. Once, even as a dream, this moment did not appear from the obstacles of history. Albanians found their century wherever they went. He never lost the privilege and honor given to him by the Albanian name.

It became Albania and Kosovo. Albanians became worthy citizens of the civilization they belong to. Honor and glory to the men of independence. Today, Albania and Kosovo are two independent states. What happened on November 28 was not everything Albanians wanted, but the foundation stone on which the future would be built. On the shoulders of the warriors of the connection of Prizren, Deda Gjo Luli, Isa Boletini and Isamil Kadare, whose literature made Albanians universal. In a hall like this, the temple of democracy, it is the right place to remember those who made the Congress of Lushnja, those who fought against the occupiers, today is the day to remember the martyrs of communist prisons, the inmates, the clergy. So are the students of the December 90s.

History is not only a narrative but also a school that brings us the triumphant ideas from which we must learn. The way of thinking of Albanians must change in accordance with the new geostrategic reality. The challenges faced by Albanians in the century we have entered are common. Today, Albania has opened membership negotiations with the EU. On December 6, Tirana will be the capital of Europe where the heads of the 27 member countries will gather. The more our states coordinate, the faster the Albanian community in the Balkans progresses. This awareness of a common decision strategy is not opposed by any other community in the region. For decades we have been separated by a wall, but in the center of our lives we have had each other in the center. We will be two political entities within the EU. To transform the borders into formal borders between ourselves and the region.said Nikola during her speech.

Meanwhile, the Speaker of the Assembly of Kosovo, Glauk Konjfca, in his speech, emphasized the strong relationship between Kosovo and Albania. He also mentioned the tensions with Serbia, as he said that Vučić does not hide his connection with Serbia. According to him, only by staying together, Kosovo and Albania can be protected from this danger, as Konjuca called it.

"Na ka bërë tok në Tiranë, dita më e rëndësishme e kombit, 28 nëntori. Le ti përshëndesim së bashku nga këtu të gjithë si shqiptarët në Kosove, Shqipëri, preshve, Bujnovc, ne Greqi e Itali, bashkatdhetarët në Gjermani, Zvicër, SHBA e çdokund ku ata jetojnë. Jemi këtu dhe jemi me ju e juve u kemi në zemër, urime dita e flamurit. 28 nëntori i mban në gjirin e vet të gjitha ëndrrat kolektive, por edhe aspiratat përbashkëta, mund e përpjekjet për liri. Kjo ditë e ka simbolin për të na i mbajtur gjallë emocionet më të thella, gatishmërinë më të vendosur dhe kujtimet tona më të çmuara. 28 nëntori është i shqip po aq sa është i Kosovës meqë është si gjithë shqiptarëve. Në këtë ditë lindi edhe heroi i madh Adem Jashari i cili duke luftuar për komb e atdhe u sakrifikuan me familjarë e me bashkëfshatarë në Prekazin legjendar. Lufta çlirimtare e largoi okupatorin serb dhe i hapi rrugë shpalljes së pavarësisë së Kosovës, ashti siç lidhja  e Prizrenit 1 shekull më parë i hapi rrugë shpalljes së pavarësisë së Shqipërisë. Meqë në zemrën e tyre e kishin 28 nëntorin. Kur ishim të shtypur, e jetonim në terrin jugosllav, popullin tionë të pamposhtur e mbajti. Rruga ishte e gjatë dhe aspak e lehtë, dy ngjarje të rënd e kanë hapur jkapitullin e mundësive të mëdha për kombin tionë, demokracia në Shqipëri dhe çlirimi i Kosovës nga pushtuesi serb. Shqipëria është anëtare e NATO-s dhe aspiron BE, kurse Kosova aspiron NATO-n dhe anëtarësimin në BE. Orientimi ynë është i pa rezervë në BE dhe në një miqësi me SHBA. Përvoja na ka mësuar ne shqiptarëve që. Boat është më e pasigurt se dje, për shkak të sulmit të Rusisë ndaj Ukrainës. Serbia nuk e fsheh lidhjen me Rusinë. Serbia po na lufton nga brenda dhe nga jashtë, pa zgjedhur mjete, prej diplomacisë deri të kontrollimi i grupeve që janë të lidhura me krimin në veri të vendit tonë. Sa më afër njëra tjetrës aq më lehtë do jetë t’i mbrojmë interesat jetike të vendit tona.
