Prime Minister Rama and other officials have started the meeting with the Albanians in Athens.

The first to speak at this meeting was Romina Kuka, who recalled her Greek roots.

She said that thanks to the dialogue, Greece and Albania will be a model of partnership until 2030.

" I was raised by my Greek grandmother. The oldest branch of her family is located in Athens. My childhood is full of stories about how Albanian was a common language in Athens. I feel honored to be given the opportunity to speak at this meeting. It is a privilege for me to speak here as a colleague of those who contribute to Edi Rama's team to make Albania a member of the big European family. You are the vanguard of our EU membership. The reasons for work also connect me to the areas where the Greek minority lives and works in Albania. The life, work and troubles of the Greek minorities in Albania have nothing to do with the propaganda that is raised between Albania and Greece.

Together, and thanks to the dialogue and cooperation between our two governments, we will make the Albania and Greece of 2030 be transformed into a partnership model.

You Albanians of Greece are our pride" , she said

After her was the chief negotiator Majlinda Dhuka who spoke at the meeting with the Albanian immigrants in Athens. She spoke a little about her background, saying that "she is the daughter of a minority father from Derviçani in Dropull and of family origin from Athens, last name Dhukas.

Dhuka said that Albania is closer than ever to realizing the dream of EU integration.

"

", said Dhuka.
