The leader of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, announced today, January 30, that the next protest of the united opposition will be held on February 10, 2026 in Tirana, calling for a massive mobilization of citizens to oppose the current government.
He described the government of Prime Minister Edi Rama as a group caught in corruption and accused the country of being run as a dictatorship with a democratic facade, where pluralism is an illusion and institutions are controlled by the majority.
Berisha emphasized that only citizens can bring down this criminal group and called on everyone to join the protest on February 10 at 5:00 PM in Tirana, considering this a historic opportunity to teach the current government a lesson.
He warned that the protest will be powerful and that supporters have been eagerly awaiting the date of the rally, while details about the demonstration will be made public in the coming days.
"Revolt and only revolt is the sovereign's deserved response to this group that has no law, constitution or morality. Revolt and only revolt is the way out, the overthrow of autocratic dictatorships, just like in other countries. Therefore, I invite once again on February 10 all Albanians, all citizens of Tirana, to the streets and squares of the capital in the most powerful protest that Albania has known against the drug regime, crime and theft of Albanians", said the democratic leader.
