The Special Prosecutor's Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime has rejected the request of the former Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, to participate in the plenary sessions of the Assembly .
The request filed on January 15 of this year by the legal defenders of the former prime minister, Sokol Mêngjesi and Genc Gjokutaj , was dismissed by SPAK prosecutors on January 18.
" The person under investigation Sali Berisha ( represented by his defenders Sokol Mêngjesi and Genci Gjokutaj ) filed on 15.01.2024 a request by which he requested his permission to participate in the plenary sessions of the Assembly, in the capacity of the deputy.
After becoming familiar with the content of this request, with the decision dated 18.01.2024, the Prosecutors have decided not to accept it ," SPAK announces.
