Gazment Bardhi

The head of the DP Parliamentary Group, Gazment Bardhi, in a statement to the media, spoke about the change in the law on the establishment of Investigative Commissions decreed by President Bajram Begaj.

Bardhi stated that every role of the Constitution was canceled and that the President decreed the unconstitutional law with the votes of Prime Minister Edi Rama.

Bardhi further said that if the head of the government would give the opportunity to review the law, the president would find arguments to reconsider it.

" To declare the law unconstitutional. I have the duty to comment on a press release of the President's institution that causes concern for every Albanian citizen. If you read the press release, you will find there the principle that the President has on the implementation of the Constitution.

The promulgation of the law today was based on the decision that if Rama were to review the law, the President would find the grounds to return the case to reconsideration.

Begaj also cites an untruth, it was the opposition MPs who avoided a discussion with the majority. The truth is that the opposition has been in a political battle for 3 months, but we have expressed our full readiness to find a solution to comply with the regulation.

Not that there was no reflection, but on the contrary, the aggressive and arrogant measures against the opposition have increased. After Begaj's behavior on Monday, I informed his cabinet about what the opposition would do, it was his choice to come to Parliament ," said Begaj.
