The examination of the criminal case in the preliminary session against former Deputy Prime Minister Arhmen Ahmetaj for the offense of abuse of office for the so-called 'Buka' case begins today.

According to the Prosecutor's Office, he abused his duty in the privatization of the factory. The court session is expected to start at 09:00.

Ahmetaj has been on the run for months for serious criminal offenses related to the incendiary case. A few days ago, Ahmetaj lost his deputy's mandate, as he did not appear in the Assembly for almost 6 months, while his place was taken by Plarent Ndreca.
