Socialist Party MP Klotilda Bushka has reacted for the first time regarding SPAK's accusations, for which she has been placed under investigation.
Bushka, also the chairwoman of the Laws Committee, is accused of taking active actions "that hinder the discovery of the truth" in the Veliaj case.
"Up to this stage, it is believed that there is concrete data that leads to reasonable suspicion that the person under investigation, KB, has committed active illegal actions that have interfered with the investigation of the proceeding body...," SPAK said in the announcement, referring to the SP MP.
At the start of the Laws Committee, she said that she would provide any clarification where necessary. As for the issue of dignity, she stated that it has been and will be so.
"I explain to you that this is a laws committee and not an investigative committee, I am the head of the laws committee and I am exercising my duty. If I have something to clarify, I will clarify it where it is clarified. As for the issue of dignity, I have been dignified, I am and I will be," said Bushka.
