The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, revealed what, according to him, is being hidden from him after the dismissal today of Deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj. According to Berisha, he was fired to save Edi Rama's skin.
Berisha warned during the exit that Arben Ahmetaj will escape from Albania to Romania where he will seek asylum. The head of the DP appealed to Ahmetaj that even if I go behind the sun, there will be no escape.
"Arben Ahmetaj, in 2005, fled for several years to Romania, where he sought asylum. Now he releases him from his duties just so that he can leave. In this case, I say to Edi Rama, that even in those satellites you have ordered to go, he will become responsible before the Albanians for this affair and his affairs.
Rama is the most thieving prime minister of the last 110 years in Albania, the most thieving prime minister of the region and Europe.
You can put pressure and shut up the SPAK of the party, but the Albanians and the opposition people, you will never be able to pressure him without giving him the place he deserves as an unrestrained thief.
The same goes for Arben Ahmetaj, go behind the sun. But you will have no escape. This affair for the opposition people is for life or death, said Berisha.
