Prime Minister Edi Rama announced that he has changed Albania's chief negotiator with the European Union, a few days after the official start of negotiations.
" Majlinda Dhuka, a high technical profile instead of the high diplomatic profile of Ambassador Mazi, becomes Chief Negotiator & Minister of State under the Prime Minister. I thank Zef Mazin for the contribution to the great historical achievement of the opening of negotiations ", announced Prime Minister Edi Rama on Twitter.
Mazi held this post since June 2020.
