The President of Kosovo Vjosa Osmani has arrived in Tirana within the framework of the EU-Western Balkans Summit. The President called on the EU to move from words to deeds regarding the liberalization of Kosovo's visas and announced that at the end of the year Kosovo will submit an application to join the EU.

I am very happy to be in Tirana, I hope that the conclusions and declarations will show this unity of the EU towards an accelerated process towards the EU.

I am here as the representative of the most pro-European country that exists. We need the EU to move from words to deeds, especially when it comes to visa liberalization for Kosovo. Kosovo will submit its application for EU membership at the end of this year.

Osmani emphasized that this is a meeting between the EU and the Western Balkans and is not the place for dialogue and negotiations with Kosovo and Serbia , Osmani said.
