The SP resolution on anti-corruption, Alibeaj: It will overshadow the work of
Enkeled Alibeaj

DP MP Enkeled Alibeaj has stated that the SP resolution on anti-corruption aims to intervene in the Justice Reform through a Parliamentary Commission.

Alibeaj raised accusations saying that Prime Minister Edi Rama wants to attack the justice system including the Assembly.

But how will they achieve it? "They don't hide it at all, they want to create a control mechanism through a special permanent parliamentary committee, which will shadow the work of SPAK in a parallel way all the time, will eclipse it", says the democratic deputy.

Enkeled Alibeaj: " The devil is in the details!" The intention is to intervene in the Law Reform through the parliament. It was proposed by the most corrupt prime minister of the most corrupt government of this country, which today is the object of investigation by SPAK and GJKKO. This is the great absurdity, the investigated seeks to change the rules of the one investigating. He will do it including the Assembly. It aims to attack the justice system.

None of the administration agrees to sign tender procedures, due to the fear of SPAK. A month ago, 110 MPs came together to show big and small that we are here to defend ourselves against SPAK. The second step was yesterday with this resolution. What are they looking for? They seek to aim at a heavy thing, even now it has managed to bring an effect. The main property of the new justice is the credibility of the public. They have proceeded with criminal proceedings to those heights where the previous justice could not reach, but for another feature, the fact that SPAK and GJKKO today are seen by the vast majority of public opinion as distanced from politics, out of its control.

This is the reason why the constitutional reform in justice was made. With this resolution, it is requested to show that the Parliament is here, that 100 or so MPs have it in their hands whenever they want, if they think that they can undertake legal initiatives and interfere with the justice system.

The signal sent to the public is that SPAK and GJKKO are not immune from political influence. The most corrupt prime minister of this country used to say that the new justice is a product of the SP, to say that it is a political product. But it's not like that, it shouldn't be and it's not even perceived because politics is "prey", prey. With what he has done, he aims at this.

Together with him, he seeks to remove the most important brick in the foundations of SPAK, independence.

If today it is put under pressure, tutelage even with the laws of the Parliament loses its independence.

Thirdly, it has questioned the success of the Justice Reform. The government has practically said that the Justice Reform is not successful, what is the reason that today it would have to throw this political gauntlet in the middle of the parliament? How will they do it? They do not hide it at all, they seek to create a control mechanism through a special permanent parliamentary committee. It is what Basha said in January. With a parliamentary commission that will shadow the work of SPAK in a parallel way all the time, it will eclipse it .
