Prime Minister Edi Rama has reacted with irony on social media regarding the flooding situation caused by the heavy rainfall of recent days, not only in Albania, but also in several countries in the region and Europe.

In a post, Rama writes that he does not understand why he, the government, or the Municipality of Durrës are still not being blamed for the heavy rainfall that has hit Italy, Greece, Montenegro, and Croatia.

"I don't understand why they are not yet blaming me, the government and the municipality of Durrës, for the suffocating rains of these days in Italy, Greece, Montenegro, Croatia and so on... The oppositions there are very surprised, they would at least blame their governments, but nothing, no nonsense," Rama writes.
