The Socialist Party has unofficially launched the electoral campaign for the May 14 local elections this Tuesday afternoon, where it will be with the slogan "Never back, forward".

Initially, Prime Minister Edi Rama gathered the SP Presidency and the 61 mayoral candidates in the pink headquarters and then they went to the "Skënderbej" square where they will plant 61 trees in the flower garden nearby.

During his speech, Prime Minister Edi Rama attacked his opponents Sali Berisha-Ilir Meta, where he stated that many damages will be avoided without the vote for the Democratic Party. He also said that the SP has done bad things, but without harm.

Rama further stated that Rama and Berisha are hostages of their past, of major corruption, of the stamp non grata, Russian money and secret money that have started to surface. According to the prime minister, Berisha and Meta want to take as many municipalities as possible to protect themselves from justice.

Rama further said that even the SP candidates are not fallen from the sky.

The unimaginable increase of tourists is only the meaningful warning of a future with hope, there is the basis of the transformation like day and night. Elections are very important for a country, than what many of the voters mistakenly think by not voting, how much work would not have been done without the SP vote, and how much damage would have been avoided without the PD vote.

We have doubled the income per capita in Albania. My ambition is to have a minimum salary of at least 60 thousand ALL by 2030. Regardless of setbacks or falls along the way, not that these do not happen, but the country turns back again. As has been the case whenever those others have taken his hands, the Vote for Others has usually done more harm than good. Very serious damage that is completely irreparable, or damage that took years to repair. Undoubtedly, we have not done everything well either, but we have not done anything with serious damage to Albania and the Albanians. Our balance is positive in relation to all our electoral contracts. We are the force of change in this country. Wherever voters trust us with their vote, we do what others can't.

Nuk është ekzagjerim kjo që po them, le të dalë dikush dhe të na tregojë një bashki të vetme në harkun e 30 viteve, ku vota për ata të tjerët ka sjellë ndryshim dhe përparim. Më besoni, kam kërkuar me mend jo një herë dhe nuk e gjej asnjë. Është i njëjti avaz si në Shkodër, kudo tjetër ku vota ka shkuar në drejtim tjetër. Shikoni Lezhën sot dhe imagjinojeni larg qoftë nesër Lezhën me po ata që sot janë ku e ku më keq nga çfarë ishin dje.

Sot janë bërë një arsye turpëruese për Shqipërinë në sytë e botës. Ata nuk janë më as vetvetja por pengje të së shkuarës së tyre, të korrupsionit madhor, të damkës non grata, parave ruse dhe parave të fshehta që kanë nisur të dalin mbi ujë si ato shishet e anijeve të mbytura. Ata janë i mbyturi që të mbyt.

Duan të marrin peng sa më shumë Bashki, sa më shumë Shqipëri, shqiptarët për, t’u mbrojtur nga drejtësia që votonin, por që ka më pak shans që të harrojë. Unë sot nuk kam asnjë këshillë më të mirë për t’iu dhënë demokratëve për hir të asaj që ishte PD, sesa t’ju them mos e lidhni fatin me qytetet tuaja, fatin e pastrimit, të qendrave shëndetësore, të hapësirave të gjelbrat me dy hije të se kaluarës që rrezikojnë t’ju ndajnë nga treni i zhvillimit kombëtar, t’ju hedhë në erë urat e bashkëpunimit. Ua them demokratëve në të gjithë Shqipërinë, sidomos në Shkodër dhe zona të tjerët, se në pjesën dërrmuese demokratët dhe kur gabojnë i ndihmojnë socialistët t’i mbajnë në rrugën e duhur. Me o se pa ju Shqipëria do ecë përpara.
