Prime Minister Edi Rama published today some pictures from the Korçë-Ersekë road, which collapsed in February before it was inaugurated. 

Through a video published on social networks, the head of government emphasizes that this new axis will connect the two municipalities in 20 minutes.

" Here is the reborn Korçë - Erseke road completed, as a new axis that connects the two municipalities for 20 minutes and creates optimal transport conditions for residents, agricultural products and also the further promotion of tourism development that has started with steps soon also in Cologne and in Leskovik until yesterday completely abandoned and isolated ", writes Rama next to the video.

Also, the Prime Minister emphasizes that many stones were put and a lot of mud was thrown for a road slide during the works, which was reconstructed with the expenses incurred entirely by the company.

In February of this year, it was reported that the track of the Korcë-Ersekë road, which was under construction, collapsed. The major damage to the road happened in the place called 'Qafa e Qarrit-Mollas'.

The construction of this road was carried out by the company "ANK", while the prosecutor is the Albanian Road Authority. In 2022, for the Second Lot, more than two billion lek have been given from the state budget.
