The chairman of the Democratic Party, Sali Berisha, told the media that a technical government with Prime Minister Edi Rama is unimaginable.

He said that all means of civil disobedience will be used for his removal so that Albanians can vote freely.

"He is the model of complete failure. The technical government with Rama as prime minister is beyond any imagination. Two things I must repeat here, we are a democratic force and we never take power by force. We are a democratic force and we only come to power with votes But we have in front of us an enemy of the free vote, Edi Rama, and we will use all means of civil disobedience for his removal so that Albanians can vote freely ," said Berisha. 

On October 7, the opposition protested for less than 4 hours in the streets of Tirana. The Molotov cocktails thrown by the protesters burned the Prime Minister's Office, the headquarters of the Socialist Party, the Ministry of the Interior and the City Hall of Tirana.

After the opposition protest in Tirana, where flares and Molotov cocktails were thrown, the general secretary of the DP, Flamur Noka, the head of the Group, Gazment Bardhi, and the organizational secretary, Ervin Minarolli, have been criminally prosecuted.

The DP officials were prosecuted at large for the criminal offense of "Organizing and participating in illegal gatherings and demonstrations".
