Prime Minister Edi Rama reacted after the assassination attempt on the Prime Minister of Slovakia, Robert Fico, who was shot today with three bullets and is in critical condition.

Rama expresses himself shocked by the attack on his friend, as he wishes him a speedy recovery and a "spectacular comeback".

"Shocked by the terrible news of the terrible attack on the elected Prime Minister of Slovakia, a great survivor and dear friend to whom I wish a speedy recovery and a spectacular return", writes Rama on social networks.

Fico was shot by a 71-year-old poet, who said he carried out the assassination because "you did not agree with the policies of his government".
