Klajdi Marku has resigned from the position he held as the director of the Bylis Theater in Fier. Through a statement to the media, he has told his version of the story regarding the video that went viral on social networks.

He says that his participation in the meeting of Rama in Athens on May 12 was a coincidence since the theater was located in Corinth where he participated in the international festival of ancient theaters for young people.

Klajdi Marku stated that his comment was a joke, which was used for malicious purposes by the person who recorded the video.

" Initiated by a video published on social networks, I feel the moral obligation to make a clarification for all the media. It is true that I was present at the meeting of the country's prime minister in Athens on May 12, and I do not hide my pride that I was part of that historic meeting, even if by chance. Yes, I participated in the activity, but I was with the participating troupe in the activity in Corinth, we gave a performance on May 11. On the 12th, the group wanted to see the activity, so we went.

I clarify today for all the media and public opinion, for all those who know me, and for all those who are trying to use this politically. It was a conversation in the form of a joke with the unknown person who made the provocative recording and who had malicious intentions.

I have been an actor and director for many years at the Bylis theater and with this position and with this obligation I am not bound by any party obligation and under these conditions I remove myself from the director's position administratively and legally by resigning to preserve my personal image and the artist ", said Marku.
