Prime Minister Edi Rama in his speech from the Business House to "Pyramid", declared that the Albanian state will do more against corruption.
Rama said during his speech that businesses will be classified. He said that there will be no more surprise fines, adding that the reform of the Inspectorates will be carried out.
"We have a state-building war, so that the space for corruption narrows. Once corruption was capillary. The knowledge gained in these years helps us, but also the knowledge of the European Union. We must carry out the reform of the Inspectorates. They will be autonomous from the ministries. We need to change the figure of the inspector. It will not be a body that will both impose fines and receive complaints. There will also be Appeals Commissions of business representatives, in a transparent and collegial way, to pass a barricade that is not so easily overcome. what is overcome today.
We will establish the "no fine on the first visit" principle. This will make it impossible for a fine to be imposed unexpectedly. It is the state that serves business, to guarantee free and fair competition. The first visit has only counseling and recording of the problem. The second time, a body will be returned, which is monitored in the meantime. Businesses will be classified, as everyone has their own level of success. Businesses that will be correct in relation to the state will not be checked, they will be in the A band of businesses and no one can check, as they have shown in the process of time that they have adhered to the rules," said Rama, among other things.
