Prime Minister Edi Rama was this weekend in Dibër, from where he continued his tour of pre-electoral meetings. But the hospitality reserved for him had not been to the prime minister's taste at this time of energy crisis.
"The captain had set fire to everything there. We lit them for you, he said. If he had the real price, Kapllani would have closed the curtains for me because he would have seen the sunlight that he paid for me", said Rama.
During the meeting with representatives of the tourist operators of the area, the head of the government focused on the price of energy, underlining that the situation in the hydropower plant is not the best possible.
"I go out here in the sun for a bit because it's a bit fresh." I'm sorry that I can't enjoy this sun because I want rain, because if we don't have rain, we have that big problem with the price of electricity".
As one of the best chosen to face crises in the future is the Skavica hydropower plant, for which Edi Rama said that there are no steps behind.
Dibra is one of the counties with the largest emigration of young people, which for Rama is understandable, but not acceptable. According to the prime minister, a dilapidated house in Dibër can bring you five times the money that a young person can get in emigration.
"For those who have an old house, no matter how dilapidated, or a plot of land in the countryside, it is a real opportunity to turn it into an asset and turn it to earn double, triple, five times what is earned by working there, to work for someone else there."
Although he said that he did not want to mention the political opponents, he closed the meeting by giving a promise: "We are here, we will continue our work and our tax administration will beat them well once again".
