Prime Minister Edi Rama, at the extended meeting of the Socialist Parliamentary Group, has not stopped the attacks on prosecutors and judges in the country, while emphasizing that they must deal with the message and not the messenger.
He said that magistrates should do their job, as they are paid as much as a chicken, while also recalling the attack that Berisha once made against former Chief Prosecutor Ina Rama, labeling her a 'whore'.
"Let them remember where they were hiding when my predecessor raised the coup plotters and put down the whore Prosecutor General," he said.
Rama: Even the most blind English-speaking supporters of justice reform in this city are surprised when a judge tells the prosecutor: "Heavy hand, because your charge is light," or when an Appeals Court judge gives the appellant an even heavier sentence than the one he had in the first instance. English-speakers remember that these are homemade bombs of government propaganda. These are facts, terrible facts.
But the biggest problem is that there is no visible reflection on the horizon of the judicial power, and this disturbing perception is reinforced by the fact that when I raise concerns of this nature, the prosecutor's office or judicial councils, as the case may be, stamp on my words some nervous statements, like those of people whose midday sleep is disturbed by a wedding drum. With some stale calls for political actors not to put pressure on justice and blah, blah, blah...
Despite the fact that I am not a political actor, but am the Prime Minister elected by a popular vote that gave the Socialist Party an overwhelming majority of 83 seats, while this party has no competitor in world history for supporters of the independence of justice, and the most silent political factor towards the faults and blunders of independent justice, I essentially raise serious problems, which the drafters of those useless statements must deal with.
First, before they write the word "pressure" more easily, it is a very big word for the biggest supporter of their independence, which is me here, it is good for them to remember where they were hiding when my predecessor was raising the putschists and lowering the whore General Prosecutor. Or, if they find it difficult to remember where they could have been hiding, or even worse, it seems unnecessary to them to remember, let us not forget that now, at this time, the one who could not become my successor, because he was my predecessor, cannot articulate not a statement, not even half a word, after he comes out and reads the house book to our most courageous prosecutor, at the door of SPAK.
So deal with the message, not the messenger, because they are paid like chickens, along with their 500 secretaries and advisors, to govern the new justice system, not to be accused of non-existent pressures from me, who has handed over the sword of independent justice.
