Prime Minister Edi Rama calls the GJKKO decision to suspend Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku a brutal and crippling intervention.

"What is it but brutal intervention, the suspension of a minister by a prosecutor and judge, by decision of a preliminary hearing without a trial, unprecedented in the history of the world. What is it but crippling interference in the territory of legislative power, the attempt of an association of representatives of the judiciary to increase their salaries by litigation.

Since the history of republics with three branches of government, the judiciary has calculated salaries and determined a country's wage or tax policies.

But, the hope is that this phase will be temporary and repeated austerity, we will not have a functional state, a public administration, without fear of making decisions, down to buying toilet paper. This is a fact, I chose it specifically because it is the most tragicomic. I repeat, these are lessons that other countries have learned with certain limitations, Albania does not have the luxury of being able to learn these lessons", he stressed.
