Blendi Gonxhja has reacted to Prime Minister Edi Rama's proposal for the position of Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports.

Through a post on social media, Gonxha expresses gratitude for the Prime Minister's trust in him, while on the other hand wishing success to his colleagues.

Among other things, Gonxhja underlines that this mandate is related to the challenges of 'AlbaniaTourism2030', especially in strengthening professional capacities, increasing the quality of services or increasing investments in cultural infrastructure.

Thank you to Prime Minister Edi Rama for the trust to continue as part of the governing cabinet in the fourth mandate, in the position of Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sports.

This mandate is closely related to the challenges of AlbaniaTourism2030: sustainable development of tourism, strengthening professional capacities, increasing the quality of services and integrating new destinations that unite the country's cultural and natural heritage, experiential tourism and strengthening sporting events that generate tourism.

The priority also remains increasing investments in cultural infrastructure, developing creative industries and supporting the artistic creativity of young people, enriching the cultural and tourist calendar throughout the year.

Sport, as a culture and a power to unite and inspire, is an essential part of this vision, both through improving sports infrastructure and expanding participation, as well as through the dignified representation of Albania in the international arena.
