The leader of the 'Albania Becomes' movement, Adriatik Lapaj, has reacted on the social network Facebook to the first day of Parliament, which will be held tomorrow.

Lapaj says that the votes they received throughout Albania should be represented in Parliament with 6-7 deputies, but the current system does not allow it.

Adriatik Lapaj says that in the Parliament they will do battle with Edi Rama and Sali Berisha, whom he accuses of being "hostage takers of Albania".

"In this legislature, we will be legally represented with a mandate as a deputy, which we would like to come from the ranks of the open lists. But once again, the system used all its tricks to not allow it as a democratic standard. The Albania Becomes Movement is a movement that was created on the concept of competition and meritocracy, and we will continue to fight during these 4 years for the depoliticization of the electoral administration, for the opening of the lists, for the law on referendums, for the democratization of Albania and against those who have set up a system that has taken our country hostage. Having said that, we cannot be any different except in the face of the authors of the hostage-taking of Albania, Edi Rama and Sali Berisha."

The Albania Is Made Initiative is represented only by Ana Dajko in parliament, while Lapaj promises that the political battle will continue on the streets of the country.

"In this legislature, we will be represented by MP Ms. Ana Dajko who will periodically present draft laws formulated by the legal team of the Albania Is Done movement to represent the need for change in the problems of various areas of citizens' lives. Legally we will see each other in Parliament, politically we will see each other on the streets of the homeland."

The new parliament resulting from the May 11 elections will convene tomorrow in a formal session, where the new deputies will be sworn in.
