Prime Minister Edi Rama revealed on Tuesday evening that he will run for deputy of the Tirana district in the May 11 parliamentary elections.

At the ceremony organized on the occasion of the 105th anniversary of Tirana's declaration as the Capital of Albania, Rama said that he will join the capital's team, while expressing his conviction that on May 11, the capital will give Albania the largest number of SP deputies it has ever given, or as he calls it, "the greatest political force of Albanians."

Rama said he will join the capital's team in the general elections, adding that everything will be blue.

"There is no remorse that can be a reason to aggravate the position of the person by the one who accuses. This has happened, but it happened at a different time when investigations were carried out with directives from the State Security for criminals or for people who had to be brought up as criminals for whom there was no question of the presumption of innocence. We are in a very delicate situation, not for us in the political aspect.

It is also clear to me that I should be here in Tirana together with the entire Tirana team. Tirana is becoming and will be something extraordinary when the projects are completed and for this we need to work very hard. Among other things, I believe that despite the irreplaceable role of the leader, Tirana is a mechanism. On May 11, Tirana will give Albania the largest number of deputies it has ever given to the largest political force of Albanians ", said Rama.
