Prime Minister Edi Rama gathered today at the headquarters of the Socialist Party the candidates for deputies of the Tirana district.

During his speech to the audience, Rama said that the Socialist Party and his government will achieve the country's entry into the European Union by 2030.

The Chief Executive told citizens that the train of history stops very rarely at one station and the opportunity for citizens is limited, they catch it or lose it.

" Of course, all elections have been important, where we enter to win, and have had their own weight on the fate and progress of the country. These elections have a specific important weight, these are the first ones that have a special geopolitical importance. The possibility of Albania's entry into the EU is real, tangible and current. I believe that our European partners have never suspected that our country would be a member of the EU, but never before has this been something concrete and current like today.

A window has opened that will not remain open forever. As a result of all the efforts made and the achievements made, we have the opportunity to seize this moment and this is one of those where the train of history passes in front of us and we must be aware, the train stops very briefly at the station, it does not stay indefinitely because that is the way history unfolds. We must not miss this train and we will not miss it.

Today, seeing the tectonic changes that have begun all over the world, there is work and discussion to be done with people, there is a need to talk to people in the campaign and contacts about the importance of changing our status. They connect joining the EU with sporadic episodes or moments that have remained on earth, this is of vital importance for Albania and Albanians, by joining the EU Albania can ensure individual freedom for every person. Individual freedom is threatened in our country , "said Rama
