SP "returns to work"/ Rama convenes the Assembly on September 8

September, for the socialists, will start with accountability both within the government and the party.

On September 8, Edi Rama will convene in Durrës the new Assembly that emerged from the July 28 congress.

After the government's "cold sweats" with the recent changes, it is now the turn to experience the anxiety of the decisions of the head of the socialist, it has passed to the members of the leadership dome of the party, including the secretariat.

The assembly has the task of electing the new leadership of the SP, whose members are also expected to be the political envoys in 12 districts. With the party changes, SP will start work for the next parliamentary elections, so the selection of people who will take over the direction of the field campaigns, together with the compilation of teams and candidates, takes on more importance in the context of the confrontation with the political opponent.

Before Rama gives the verdict for his close collaborators in the pink headquarters, the Prime Minister will first conduct the analysis of the government cabinet for each department on Sunday, September 1 at the government villa in Dajt.

Socialists are forced to change the format of their analysis, turning it into a one-day meeting that starts at 9 am and ends in the early evening, with a narrower participation, mainly of the government cabinet, but without excluding the important political representatives of the SP both in the party and in the Parliament.

This year, Prime Minister Rama's international agenda seems to have somewhat complicated the plans by changing the date and place of the meeting several times. This is because on August 30 and 31 Rama has been invited to participate in the Globsec forum in Prague, as announced by the organizers of this meeting in the Czech Republic.

After Edi Rama finishes the retreat and closes all the open issues in the party, the Prime Minister will travel to the USA to participate in the United Nations Assembly, since this year it is the head of the government, not the President of the Republic. /  A2 CNN
