November 6 was the deadline to submit candidacies for the democrat primaries for the municipalities of Tirana, Durrës and Elbasan. But these last two did not follow the pace of the capital and today they do not have official candidates, so the deadline has been postponed until November 8.

For the Municipality of Elbasan, the 2 possible candidacies are expected to be formalized tomorrow with the head of the branch, Bledi Himçi and the former mayor Aurel Bylykbashi.

Even in Durrës, the head of the Igli Cara branch wants to run for the Municipality. In the primaries, he is expected to face Ardian Mukë, the former candidate of the "reestablishment" of the DP for the March 6 partial elections for the Durrës Municipality. Belind Këlliçi, Gert Bogdani, Ilir Alimehmeti and Adriana Kalaja formalized their candidacy in the Tirana primaries until this Sunday.
