Despite being stopped by the police, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha seems determined to hold the December 6 protest in front of the Prime Minister's Office, on the same day when the European Union-Western Balkans Joint Summit will be held in Tirana.

During a meeting with the residents of unit 5 in Tirana, Berisha called on all citizens to come out to "Dëşmorët e Kombit" boulevard on December 6 at 12:00.

Berisha declared that the summit to be held in Tirana will deal a fatal blow to the Open Balkans project, which, according to him, is supported by Russian Minister Lavrov.

He further added that he will protest on the 6th to tell the leaders of Europe that Prime Minister Rama does not represent the opposition people, nor the Albanian people and is an enemy of all the basic values on which society is built.

"The moment is like this, since on December 6, all the leaders of the EU and the Western Balkans will gather here in Tirana in a joint summit. And this is an unrepeatable honor for Albania and a geo-strategic selection of importance historic with which Western Europe tells Vladimir Putin and others that Albania is our territory and forget that you may have other ambitions. In this way, this summit in the strategic plane is of great interest to Albanians and gives a fatal blow , not to say definitively to the project of Aleksandar Vučić, Edi Rama and his other vassal in Skopje, the Open Balkans project, openly supported by Lavrov, but we must be open and tell the truth, no less than George Soros and his progeny,Alexis who participates in every summit of this Russian-Serbian initiative.
Even in this context, the summit is very welcome.

If we get why we will be on the 6th in protest, I invite EU leaders to take this presence as a salute and tribute to their values. But this is only one side of the coin. We are on the streets and in the square to protest against the enemy of European values in Albania, Edi Rama and his regime. We are not hiding anything here, on the contrary, we are coming out on the 6th to tell the leaders of Europe that this does not represent the opposition people, nor the Albanian people, and this is an enemy of all the basic values on which society is built. It is an enemy of the free vote of the Albanians, it is an enemy of their rights, of their identity, culture and public assets, budget funds and their future.

And on December 6th, the one who calls himself Albanian, the one who feels himself Albanian cannot be other than in protest, in powerful protest against Edi Rama and his clique in power. In this context, it is the duty of every democrat, more than ever, to take every measure, to make every effort to be found at 12:00 on the boulevard "Dëshmorër e Kombit" in a protest never seen before in the history of Tirana."  - declared Berisha.
