After setting the date of July 23 for the repeat of the elections in Rrogozhinë, Sali Berisha held a meeting with the structures of the Democratic Party in this municipality, who were asked to work hard during these 3 weeks to protect the victory.

The former prime minister repeated the position that in front of the opposition is the state machinery that alienates the will of the citizens, while MP Ervin Salianji was also sitting by his side.

"In the Municipality of Rrogozhina, the elections will be repeated after the manipulation that the regime did with the ballot box in the prison of Rrogozhina.

The vote administration institutions, after ascertaining the irregularity of this box, did not invalidate it, but announced a repeat of the elections in the entire Municipality.

Berisha expressed gratitude to all those who voted for the change in Rrogozhina in the May 14 elections, as well as to the candidate Shkëlqim Hoxha.

Berisha said that in front of the citizens and the opposition is the machinery of a state which does everything to alienate the vote, so it is required to multiply the efforts to protect the victory.

Berisha asked for a serious work with all the voters to bring them closer to the ballot box", says the PD announcement.
