Two agreements between Albania and Greece, which are expected to be approved soon, will help Albanian immigrants in the Greek state.
In the meeting with the Albanian immigrants in Athens, Prime Minister Edi Rama gave them the good news of the pension agreement and the renewal of residence permits with the acquisition of Greek citizenship.
"Finally, with the current government, which was not even discussed with the previous ones, we have managed to open negotiations at the expert level for the pension agreement with Greece. Also, we have opened the bilateral dialogue at a technical level on the issue of residence permits and the procedure of obtaining citizenship by naturalization, and there is a lot of progress and I am confident that very soon you will receive very good news".
Prime Minister Edi Rama also spoke about the joint projects between Albania and Greece that are being worked on.
"Another common strategic goal agreed between the two governments is the coordination of the European needs and opportunities of the two countries in the integrated European energy market.
Another beautiful page of cooperation and rapprochement, to integrate it by making a cross-border integration for the Vjosa National Park, which in the coming years will be the engine of the tourism industry, but turning into an integrated European park where there are no borders is triumphing the nature that unites us since we came to this world, will be a magnetic example either for what we can do together with each other for each other, or for tourists from all over the world. Albania 2023 will have gained its complete energy independence. Not a single penny from the taxes of the Albanians will be spent to buy energy abroad".
