The Freedom Party demands the reopening of ballot boxes and a recount of votes

The Freedom Party has filed an official request with the Central Election Commission and the State Election Commissioner, Ilirjan Celibashi, for the opening of ballot boxes and the recount of ballots in the electoral zone of the Kavaja Municipality.

The request signed by the Secretary General of the PL, Tedi Blushi, comes after reasonable suspicions of irregularities during the vote counting process and aims to guarantee the integrity and transparency of the election result.

The administrative units included are Kavajë, Golem, Synej, Helmas and Luz i Vogël.

Secretary Blushi emphasizes that this step is in accordance with the Electoral Code and requires the relevant institutions to review and approve the request.
