The Mayor of Erseka, Erion Isai

A few days ago, a video was released from an official meeting between representatives of the European Union and local Albanian authorities.

From this meeting, the mayor of Erseka, Erion Isai , became the subject of memes online due to his English and strange mention of Donald Trump during discussions about integration, climate, and the economy.

In the comments section on Instagram, a citizen disappointed by Isai's performance reacted with a harsh comment.

But what happened next is completely unacceptable and unjustifiable: the mayor wrote to the citizen privately on Instagram, severely insulting him with street language, not at all worthy of a representative of a public institution, joq writes .

The serious insults are documented with evidence, as the citizen has sent screenshots of the messages to our editorial office.

In addition to insults, Isai has also invited the citizen to a "one-on-one" confrontation, turning the virtual debate into a personal challenge, which is more like a neighborhood quarrel than the behavior of a local official.
