The Laws Committee has returned to work, holding its next meeting today, which was accompanied by debates between opposition members and leader Klotilda Bushka.
While the meeting was scheduled to approve the Committee's work calendar and several draft laws, Enkelejd Alibeaj and Asllan Dogjani declared that the approval of these draft laws is in violation of the constitution and that decisions should be made in the next Parliament, choosing to leave the Senate.
Excerpts from the debate:
Asllan Dogjani- There is no place for making fake laws. A dictatorship has been installed in Albania. Even the socialists faced a criminal situation.
Klotilda Bushka – The parties do the analysis
Asllan Dogjani – Drug money, fear has the most powerful effect. A threat to democracy. There was manipulation during the counting. You brought in artists, not counters.
Klotilda Bushka- This is not the place for electoral analysis.
Enkelejd Alibeaj – You lack legitimacy after May 11. The approval of these draft laws in violation of the constitution. Only discussions, not approvals. Approvals in the next Parliament.
