Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha said today that the opposition is supervising every vote that is cast in the ballot boxes, despite the efforts of the narco-state, which, as he said, will fail.
In a statement to the media, Berisha called on all citizens who have not voted so far to go to their polling station.
"I thank all the citizens who have voted since 7 o'clock in the morning, they have performed an extremely important constitutional duty.
I call on all citizens who have not yet voted, to vote, to appear in the following hours at the polling stations and to vote as an extraordinary service they do to their country and family.
I guarantee the citizens that the opposition is supervising this process with complete success. Today it is more powerful than ever. Their vote has the absolute protection of the Albanian opposition. Any kind of effort that the narco state is making is destined to fail.
I tell the citizens that the police have taken a day off today, but regardless of that, you vote as free people. The opposition is monitoring your every vote," said Berisha.
