15 deputies of the Democratic Party have requested the urgent verification of the SP candidate in Vaun e Dejas, Kristian Shkreli, who won the elections with a deep result on May 14 in front of two other candidates.

Kristian Shkreli in 2021, when he was a candidate for deputy under the SP logo, did not declare his deportation from Italy in 2007, in the decriminalization form.

While in 2023, he declared the deportation, but without giving the reasons for the deportation, hiding the fact that he was deported for committing a criminal offense.

The letter requesting verification is dated April 25, as it arrived at the Parliament of Albania, from the General Prosecutor's Office.

It is learned that the Department of Decriminalization has started the verification of Kristian Shkreli. For the non-declaration of deportation in 2021, the practice has been forwarded to the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana for further action for the criminal offense of falsification of forms provided for by Article 190 of the Criminal Code.

We remind you that Shkreli was declared the winner in the local elections two days ago with 8359 votes, while the candidate of Together We Win, Zef Hila, received 5741 votes, while the DP candidate, Klomentina Drini, received only 887 votes.
