From Italy, France, and Germany, many European leaders congratulated Prime Minister Edi Rama on the Socialist Party's victory in the May 11 elections.
Meanwhile, a special greeting has also come from the Presevo Valley.
It was the Mayor of the Municipality of Presheva, Ardita Sinani, who congratulated Prime Minister Edi Rama on his new governing mandate, emphasizing the support and appreciation of the Albanians of the Valley for his leadership.
In a congratulatory letter, Sinani praises Rama's victory as " evidence of the trust of the citizens of Albania in the visionary and reformist leadership " of the prime minister, describing this success as inspiring even for Albanians outside the state's borders.
"I would like to express our special gratitude for your continued commitment to internationalizing the issue of Albanians in the Presheva Valley, for raising your voice against the passivation of addresses, and for your continued support in dealing with the difficulties we face every day," Sinani writes.
Among other things, Sinani also appreciates the role that the Albanian government is playing through diplomatic institutions in support of the Albanians of the Valley, describing this commitment as " a source of hope and stability."
Meanwhile, the lack of congratulations from Kosovo's Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, is striking, which once again shows that relations between the two Albanian leaders are icy.
Even Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, like Kurti, has not congratulated the Albanian Prime Minister on his election victory.
Meanwhile, Rama has received messages from Giorgia Meloni, Pedro Sanchez, Volodymyr Zelensky, Keir Starmer, Viktor Orban, Ursula von der Leyen, Emmanuel Macron and Antonio Costa, etc.
