Today (January 20) at 5:00 PM, MPs will return to Parliament. 

The third Monday of January will find legislators in the plenary sessions, in the last session for this tenth legislature, which will continue its work until March, to then give way to preparations for the May 11 elections that will elect the new parliament.

The grievances of the boycott have been temporarily forgotten and MPs from all parties will try to find common ground on several initiatives. The closest challenge is the amendment of the Electoral Code, which is imposed by the implementation of the diaspora vote, a historic process that is being implemented for the first time in these elections.

The DP and the SP should unite their votes for some changes, which are related to both the technical and political aspects of the process.
