The next plenary session will be held in the Parliament this Thursday, which will start at 10:00 a.m. An interpellation with the Minister of Economy and Innovation, Delina Ibrahimaj, is also expected to take place during the session.

This interpellation was requested by the leader of the "Mundësia" Party, Agron Shehaj and Erald Kapri. It is also expected to discuss the legal changes to Article 242 of the Criminal Procedure Code.

According to the agenda, several points will be discussed, including the election of 5 supervisory members of the Bank of Albania.

Of the 5 members, 3 names are the selection of the SP, namely Selami Xhepa, Holta Zaçaj and Matilda Shehu. The other 2 names are the selection of Prime Minister Edi Rama based on applications that have gone to the government, respectively, Ervin Mete and Jonida Prifti.

Agenda:

I. Meeting of the Assembly in plenary session on 19.2.2026, 10:00.

II. The agenda of the plenary session is as follows:

1. Approval of the minutes of the plenary session of 12.2.2026.

2. Notifications.

3. Interpellation with the Minister of Economy and Innovation, Ms. Delina Ibrahimaj, requested by MPs Agron Shehaj and Erald Kapri.

4. Draft law "On the foreign service in the Republic of Albania".

5. Draft law “On some amendments to law no. 27/2018, “On Cultural Heritage and Museums””.

6. Draft law “On an amendment to Law No. 61/2012, “On excise duties in the Republic of Albania”, as amended”.

7. Draft law “On an amendment to Law No. 80/2015, “On higher education and scientific research in higher education institutions in the Republic of Albania””.

8. Draft law “On an addition to Law No. 92/2014, “On Value Added Tax in the Republic of Albania”, as amended”.

9. Draft law "On the status of miners".

10. Draft law “On the necessity of conducting laboratory analyses for food contaminants”.

11. Draft law “On some additions and amendments to law no. 43/2023, “On electronic governance””.

12. Draft decision “On the election of the member of the Supervisory Council of the Bank of Albania”.

III. The services of the Assembly are charged with publishing the agenda of the plenary session, notifying the members of the Assembly through electronic means of communication, and preparing the parliamentary documentation to be reviewed.

IV. This order shall enter into force immediately.
